Text Box: We all  miss Helen & Henry Weil and “Another Lousy Day On Maui“.   Just think all you Californians – We could be home counting rain drops and having fun with rolling Blackouts.
Ruth & Arthur Broder have invited one and all to join them in their swimming pool in Boston if the January sun gets to be to much for you in Maui.
Wouldn’t everyone rather be playing tennis in the snow – than out on the Kaanapali Golf Courses.
See Sally Thorpe to get your free passes to the Mercedes Open and meet Clint Eastwood and Tiger Woods and Bill Green.
Remember everyone guard your shoes, Lou Weil is out on parole and on the prowl.
Be sure you sign up for the shuffle board tournament or you will be drafted to the Tiddle-e-winks games.
Those who are bored with the MKV owners meetings can buy time shares at the Marriot.
Some of you who haven’t seen the new elevators in the Aloha Towers are invited to a free ride on February 29th for an all day excursion.  Please make your reservations early.
Aloha

Text Box: The fun and games have begun and the elimination rounds have been completed in spite of Molokai drifting so far out that it was not seen from the Shuffleboard Courts.
We are all hoping that good weather will see Molokai drift back closer to Maui.
Today there was a record crowd of 27 cheering fans plus Whistle (Kay and Bill Ghean’s dark glassed incognito dog attending).  Fred Stolz and Carol Green beat out Flora Goodridge by 106 to 84.  The game was delayed when Judge Arthur “Ponytail” had his hat blown off.
The other match between Faith Reed and Les Howath versus Pinky Stolz and Bruce Kranak was a fast scoring even first half with Faith and Les finally pulling ahead from Pinky and Bruce 111 to 81.  It was rumored that Pinky goosed the Judge on a line call.  (This reporter cannot affirm this action nor does this reporter know if this resulted in extra points).
Virginia Walsh did an excellent job as one of the official score keepers.
The resident Doctor Green advised that the testing results had not come in yet.
We would like to thank MKV Board  members who are participating as players or fans and would encourage other Board  Members currently on campus to attend these annual
Text Box: games to show their support.
